Ponte San Michele: Overall view of the bridge
Architecture Library, Hesburgh Libraries
A 6th century Romanesque bridge. The name comes from the name of a Augustinian convent and church of Saint Michele (both now destroyed) which were nearby. The bridge shows Venetian influence. It is still in use as a pedestrian bridge only. Italian version of Wikipedia.
